Sophie Härtling, born in 1970, studied German language and literature in Frankfurt am Main. She has been working as an editor since 2001. Nowadays she lives in Hamburg with her husband, three children, a dog and a horse.
Gabriele Kreidel illustrates schoolbooks and covers for young adult books as well as picture books and children’s books. She lives and works as an illustrator and art teacher near Heidelberg.
