In the undergrowth of a maple tree forest lives the toadstool Henri. One day, he hears a distress call via his fine roots in the earth. Jonathan, a tree in the city, is theatened to be cut down in order to make way for a new shopping centre. The trees in the forest don’t know what to do. How can they help their fellow tree? Without hesitation, Henri decides to do something impossible: he grows legs, and sets off to help the tree. Together with Nina, a girl from the city, he comes up with an ingenious plan.
