Cosima Breidenstein studied playing the violin in Mannheim, was concert master of the opera house in Hagen, played in the Duesseldorf Symphony Orchestra and the WDR radio orchestra. Nowadays, she is the concert master of the Sinfonietta Cologne.

Barbara Scholz, born in Herford in 1969, studied Graphics at the University of Applied Sciences in Muenster. Since 1999, she has been working as a freelance illustrator for different children’s books publishers.
