World Atlas for Children

  • A multicoloured journey around the world
  • A diverse concept: combination of maps of seven continents and illustrated scenes
  • The illustrations are appropriate for children and geographically precise

This atlas is a companion for children from preschool until the end of primary school. Designed appropriately for children, the atlas also offers geographically accurate maps of the seven continents of the world.

Each continent is presented on two double-page spreads in a bigger format: The cartographic depiction on the first double-page spread invites to intently look at it, to search and find things. Which animal lives on the Galapagos Islands? And which country does the bagpipe player call his home? Next to the depiction you can see a political map with country borders and capitals which can be easily understood. Short profiles give additional interesting facts for older children.

On the second double-page spread you can find small scenes which offer more detailed knowledge about dangerous animals, funny customs, languages, historical and political events, music, sports, or everyday lives of children. In short: Everything you need to know about a continent, what it is characterised by and what connects its countries.

An atlas that will accompany young readers throughout their entire childhood and which will open up the entire world to them!
