Even in Lenni and Lu’s marvellous garden a day comes to an end, and elephant Lenni slowly gets ready for his hammock.

Lu’s bed awaits her in the tree house. But she is not tired at all. Full of energy, she does some somersaults in the apple tree. Lenni has to come up with many things to convince Lu to go to bed. In the end, the friends snuggle up in Lenni’s hammock together and fall asleep peacefully.

Andrea Schütze has always dreamed of writing her own books but only started to do so after having worked as a psychologist for a number of years. Now she is the author of many books for children; and a mother, too.

Iris Blanck studied illustration in Hamburg. After graduating she worked as a screen designer for children’s CD-ROM productions and also as the graphic director of an animated children’s film production. In 2004 she became a freelance illustrator and art director.
