Penelope and the Spellbinding Blue Night

  • Sequel to “Penelope and the Sparkling Red Magic” which was sold into eight languages
  • For fans of Cornelia Funke
  • Entertaining and original

Ever since Penelope’s hair turned sparkling red overnight, she has magical powers which she inherited from her father. Penelope can read minds, speak with the road – and even fly! After her first adventure, during which she had to rescue her father out of the hands of ruthless magicians, she and her father have become more cautious. Nevertheless, she is curious to learn more about her and her father’s “kind”, and is looking forward to spending her vacation at a magic camp. Shortly before her departure, however, there is a change in the camp’s rules and only boys are admitted to it. Penelope and her friend Gina are furious: who would be so stupid as to exclude girls? Is her father right in thinking it would be best not to mingle with other magicians? But Penelope does not want to give up on her dream to be part of a magical community, and she is ready to fight for it.
