Ever since the primary school of the little town Wear-and-Tear has moved to the run-down mansion named Hermit Manor, strange things have been happening there. Lukas, Johanna, Sylvie and Ravi have soon found out who is behind the mysterious occurrences: Otto, the ghost of a ten-year-old old boy who used to live in Hermit Manor when he was still alive. As a ghost, he is quite active, and up to no good most of the time. The four children want to keep Otto’s existence secret, but he makes it quite difficult for them. Soon, caretaker Padotzke is convinced that the school is haunted. With a Halloween party coming up, the children decide to have a bit of fun with their ghost friend Otto...
