Grandpa Paul likes to tell a story of what he did when he was a little boy: when he went to the zoo, dressed up nicely in a white sailor suit. Paul is supposed to behave nicely and not get himself dirty.
But that’s not so easy. Paul does not want to behave. He prefers picking on the elephant a little bit. But he is served right back and the elephant splashes him with dirty water. When Paul pokes the giraffe’s leg, it chews on Paul’s cap in return. And the llamas spit at him because he has thrown just a few tiny pebbles at them.
In the end, Paul’s beautiful sailor suit is completely soiled – and he realizes that picking on others actually only means bother for him.
