Juli Wind is the pseudonym of the author duo Angelika Niestrath and Andreas Hüging. Andreas is also a musician and composer, while Angelika has been working in the book industry all her life. The couple live in the county of Bentheim close to the Dutch border and in Berlin.

Ulrike König, born in Dresden, has studied both theatre painting and illustration. She has worked as a theatre painter in Spain, Tunisia, Greece, Egypt and Turkey and is also a freelance illustrator. She lives in Flensburg.
