Hans Limmer

Hans Limmer was born in 1926. In the 1960s, he emigrated with his family to Greece. There, he lived on the island of Rhodes where he wrote "My Donkey Benjamin”, the picture book classic. Limmer’s talent as a children’s writer and the timeless photographs that feature in his books have captured children’s and adults’ hearts for over forty years. In 2015, Hans Limmer died in Greece the age of 88 years.
