Does That Hurt?

It's a busy day at the children's hospital today: Mika is getting an IV, premature baby Juri is arriving by helicopter, and Jasmin is having her appendix removed. Beforehand, Dr Kim explains exactly what to expect...
The two authors work in a hospital themselves and take children along to their workplace: in a realistic, confidence-inspiring way and with exclusive insights, they show who works there and what different departments there are. The processes in the body, the equipment and the procedures are explained in a sensitive and understandable way. The emergency room, operating theatre, intensive care unit and MRI scanner are shown, as well as hidden places such as the hospital kitchen, and the exciting helicopter landing pad is inspected.

With cheerful illustrations by Anke Evers, which give children a modern picture of a children's hospital and make them want to go on a journey of discovery.
