Processes in the body are explained in an understandable way, equipment is presented, the practice team is introduced and we are informed about current standards such as anaesthetic plasters. With cheerful, modern illustrations by Anke Evers.

Florian Babor is senior physician at a children’s cancer clinic in Düsseldorf. Together with Nibras Naami, he launched a podcast about Paediatric Medicine in 2020, in which the two provide understandable and well-founded information on important topics in pediatric and adolescent medicine. “Say Aaah!” is his first children’s book.

Anke Evers

Anke Evers has been illustrating children’s books ever since she started reading with her own children. Before that, she decorated shop windows, built sets, planned room concepts and made unique, self-sewn items for children. Telling stories in pictures is Anke’s great passion. She believes that drawing is a bit like playing – one should never stop doing it.
