Father's Order or A German Girl

Elisabeth Zöller once more revisits an importent topic of National Socialism: How was it possible for someone to be a loving father of a family and at the same time send an infinite number of people to their death with one order? And how should his children deal with this?
Fiveteen years old Paula loves her father dearly. She shares his views, adores Hitler and is delighted to be with the BDM. But gradually she discovers that her father is substantially involved in the deportation of Jews. Her world view comes apart.
Very closely the reader experiences Paula’s initial enthusiasm and the painful disassociation from National Socialist ideas.
