The Almost Fearless Five

  • Stand-alone title for children aged 8+
  • A tumultuous children’s gang story for boys and girls
  • With imaginative vignettes by Astrid Henn

“The Almost Fearless Five” – that’s Tilda, Siri, Linus, Erwin and Fine. In their little village, the children’s gang regularly causes a stir. As a dare, Linus, the youngest, is supposed to sneak into old Wanda’s house and steal a spoon as proof. Wanda has a very bad reputation in the village and it is strictly forbidden to set even one foot on Wanda’s overgrown property at the edge of the forest. After Linus almost soils his pants out of fear, Wanda turns out to be a lovely old lady who has had a glimpse of all the corners of the world and who shares Linus’ passion for cooking and baking. When the Five find out eventually that Wanda is supposed to be evicted from her home, they move heaven and hell to help her out.
