Lønne is a polar bear. One morning, a delicious sweet scent of cinnamon wakes him. Is there something to celebrate? Oh yes -- it’s Lønne’s birthday today! Soon all his friends arrive: the foxes Sten and Sven and the moose Enno sing a birthday song, and the train Stjerna pulls up too.

But where is Ida, the little hare? She hops over, looking sad: she can’t find her birthday present for Lønne! Can her friends turn things around?
