Totally Haunted!

  • The first volume in a hilarious series for readers aged 9 and up.
  • With fantastic black-and-white illustrations by Karsten Teich!
  • Holiday fun meets delightful horror and original characters.

Instead of travelling to Rome with his parents as planned, Tim suddenly has to spend his holidays with his grandfather Sherry in Moderberg. The place is totally creepy and he hardly knows his quite eccentric grandfather. And of course, the strangest things happen as soon as he arrives: cats rush down the hill in wheelchairs, people disappear and Grandpa Sherry only eats raspberry jam. In the library of the old house, Tim meets Eta, who is the same age as him. Together they discover that Grandpa Sherry is actually a vampire —fortunately a peaceful one, who protects his villa, which is in fact a magical museum, from evil fellow creatures with lots of lemon water. When the shady Count Tatsel tries to take over the museum, Tim, Eta and Grandpa Sherry manage to thwart his plans at the last minute. In the end, Tim is certain: these strange holidays were the best he has ever had. And he will definitely be back soon!
