Cally Stronk has written over 60 books. She lives in the urban jungle of Berlin with her husband, author Christian Friedrich. She has won several awards, and she is particularly proud of the Preuschhof Prize for Children's Literature, because the jury consisted of over 300 children who chose her book as the best and funniest one.

Christian Friedrich is an author with an interest in living and extinct animals. He has not yet encountered any extraterrestrials, but he does have an exceptionally sweet cat. He studied at the University of Hildesheim, where he has also given various seminars on the subject of humour.
