Erkki, the Tiny Elk

  • Endearing protagonist: Erkki, the mini-elk
  • Set in the Nordic wilderness
  • Beautifully illustrated by Katja Gehrmann

Erkki, the tiny elk, lives in the Land of Thousand Lakes together with many other forest inhabitants. He would be an entirely normal elk if it weren’t for his size: Erkki is just as tall as his best friend, Lasse the rabbit, and not one bit taller. It is easy for the chief Elk and the chief Bear to overlook him sometimes. But even the strong bears cannot do anything against the mean wolves that suddenly threaten the forest inhabitants. Erkki and Lasse decide that they have to come up with a plan to defend themselves against the wolves. And one thing is clear: If they join up their forces, no adventure is too big for best friends!

A tongue-in-cheek story for young and older fans of elks.
